Every season, me ISSEY MIYAKE presents new facets of the appeal of STRETCH PLEATS, the brand's signature material, through a variety of visuals.

This season, the diverse expressions of STRETCH PLEATS are depicted alongside unique objects that appear within everyday scenery.

In addition to a silhouette that changes with the movement of the body, new forms and volumes emerge as the material wraps around objects. This lightheartedly expresses the “playfulness” born from the relationship between people, space, and material.

STRETCH PLEATS by me ISSEY MIYAKE was developed as comfortable, everyday wear for everyone, and has continued since the brand's launch. This top series is lightweight and easy to care for, with fine vertical and horizontal pleats that allow it to stretch and contract freely, and comes in playful colors and patterns each season.
