This pattern abstracts the overlapping of arms, and was born from multiple exposures on monochrome film, avoiding intentional composition and instead drawing its beauty from the interplay with the body's curves. The drape that naturally forms when worn further abstracts the pattern, revealing a new relationship between the garment and the body. A discharge printing technique that removes color from previously dyed fabric delicately expresses the organic figure of the hands and arms illuminated by light, along with the gradation of their shadows.
