TYPE-U, which is a modern interpretation of this concept, is a series of shape-memory materials that can be freely shaped by the wearer. When the clothing’s soft cuffs are rolled up, the sleeves keep their shape and do not fall down. Stretching the surface of the fabric as if brushing it off reduces any wrinkles, making these items suitable for various situations such as travel and business trips when you want to carry them compactly.
