PLUMAGE

This series is inspired by the organic gradation seen in bird wings, which is expressed through hikizome brush dyeing. The use of blended yarn combining recycled polyester and organic ramie creates a natural unevenness in the color due to differences in the dyeing, giving an appearance of depth in the hue and fabric. The coloring is finished through subtle blurring adjustments by skilled artisans and fast brushwork. Two color options evoking plumage are available in a lineup of four items that includes a jacket, bottoms, and a shirt.
