The store’s interior design is by Tokujin Yoshioka.
He has long been involved with PLEATS PLEASE, including the creation of its logo and the design of its flagship stores.
The new PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE / AOYAMA store brings to life Yoshioka’s long-standing vision of a translucent space through a combination of glass clad in aluminum.

Specially structured hanger rods, designed to make the clothing appear to be floating in midair, express the lightness of PLEATS PLEASE. Inside transparent glass cases, PLEATS PLEASE garments are rolled and displayed, creating a colorful and fun atmosphere.

This industrial space, filled with aluminum and clear glass, embodies the innovation and functionality of PLEATS PLEASE.
