KURA Exhibition “ROSE & WOOD”

ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS announced the first perfume made by Issey Miyake, “L’EAU D’ISSEY, in 1992. It was the first of a new wave of perfumes to wash across the globe. The perfume concept and naming was “Water(L’eau): source of life,” while the bottle design was inspired by a full moon shining above the Eiffel Tower.In 2019, the legacy of the concept remains, through two new products with an even broader worldview, “L’EAU D’ISSEY ROSE&ROSE” and “L’EAU D’ISSEY POUR HOMME WOOD&WOOD.” These fragrances, driven by two types of rose and two types of wood, respectively, are the richest perfumes yet and are a paean to nature itself. This exhibition presents the worldview of “L’EAU D’ISSEY” through these two new perfumes, a video, the raw ingredients of the perfume and more.
