Introducing Items “SAKIORI”

SAKIORI

This series, including a jacket made from the HaaT textile fabric, uses “Sakiori,” a traditional weaving technique that breathes new life into finely torn strips of cloth by weaving them in one at a time. Tape-like yarn cut from fabric along the bias is slowly woven row by row on a rare, old-fashioned Schönherr loom from the Bishu region, combining two differently patterned weaves in a luxurious way to craft a special garment.
