UROKO

CONCEPT

Created for the IM MEN Spring Summer 2026/27 colection “DANCING TEXTURE,” “UROKO” was inspired by Shoji Kamoda’s ceramic works, which feature distinctive, scale-like patterns. Through the fusion of advanced 3D printing technology and Japanese craftsmanship, this model brings together complex forms and distinctive finely detailed surface finishes.

TECHNICAL

DETAIL 1 Original Textured Surface Finish
The frame is treated with an original finishing process that accentuates its textured surface.
Rather than a uniform appearance, each piece reveals subtle variations, creating a perception of depth.

DETAIL 2 Precision Lens Craftsmanship
A total of eight lenses four on each side are arranged in sequence to mimic the patterns found in Kamoda’s work. To fit neatly within the compact frame, each lens features a specialy engineered concave cut and is finished with exceptional precision.
