MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO was established by founder Issey Miyake in 1970. In the next year, ISSEY MIYAKE INC. was created as a subsidiary to plan, manufacture, and sell clothes and related products. ISSEY MIYAKE has regularly participated in Paris Fashion Week since 1973, and has since then shared with the world designs with a new future-oriented concept.
