These irregular-cut pants are from a series that incorporates the Kasuri weaving technique. They are made from Kasuri-dyed yarn in four different shades, and the slight misalignment of the pattern during the weaving process creates a visual effect that cannot be achieved with printing. The pants are constructed from a single rectangular piece of cloth, giving them drape, and appeal with their asymmetric form.
