The SHIKAKU at ISSEY MIYAKE SHINJUKU presents a special installation, “NOTE-A-NOTE” by ISSEY MIYAKE | MOLESKINE.

ISSEY MIYAKE | MOLESKINE is a project, built on the shared creative vision between MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO and Moleskine.
In their pursuit of creativity, the two companies revisited the act of “writing on paper” as an essential source of creation.
In an increasingly digital age, paper still plays an essential role in daily life, most notably through the exchange of business cards, which continues to shape human connections and memories.
‘NOTE-A-NOTE’ was inspired by this cultural context: an unprecedented hybrid between a notebook and a card case, designed to capture first impressions and ideas at the very moment of meeting.
This exhibition introduces various ways ‘NOTE-A-NOTE’ can be used through an installation. We hope you will experience the creative possibilities this product opens up through the diverse perspectives that led to its creation.
