100 meters from the ground, towering buildings rise into view.
3,000 meters ahead, roads trace the outline of the city,
and you begin to imagine the lives of the people who inhabit it.

MAP

MAP is characterized by its matte material with a fabric grain texture. Pieces formed from outline drawings are put together to create the city’s silhouette and roads, while printing on the fabric gives the buildings a three-dimensional appearance. White depicts the city by day, while charcoal evokes an image of its nightscape. For both colors, the lining and hardware match the colors of the pieces behind them, making this an item with different designs on the front and back. Another notable feature is that past BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE items have been used as the names of buildings and cities.
