TYPE-XIV Eugene Studio project 001

This jacket was created as part of the “TYPE-XIV Eugene Studio project,” a collaboration between contemporary artist Eugene Kanagawa (Eugene Studio) and A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE. Building upon the concept and process of Kanagawa's representative series “Light and Shadow Inside Me,” the project returns to the fundamental relationship between warp and weft—the basic structure of woven fabric—to explore a new gradation using only black and white threads.
