This KYO CHIJIMI skirt is characterized by its light and supple texture. It is woven on a loom unique to the production area using ultra-fine cotton yarn that has been twisted more than regular hard-twist yarn. It expresses the glow of fireflies by using special thread with small beads embroidered in free-flowing curved patterns.
