EASE AND EASED
The collection's concept is based on the shape of a kamigoromo made entirely of hemp washi paper, with hemp for the warp and a blend of mohair and wool for the weft. A series of woven threads. The subtle color difference created by yarn dyeing brings out the warmth and depth of the texture. The design makes use of the drape that fits the body, and is voluminous yet light, like paper. It can be folded and stored on a flat surface.

Also, from Monday, January 6th, ISSEY MIYAKE GINZA / 445 A special exhibition "On Kamiko - On Kamiko" will be held at the CUBE in Tokyo and the CREATION SPACE in ISSEY MIYAKE SEMBA. In conjunction with this exhibition, a talk event will be held by designer Satoshi Kondo and artist Yoshihisa Tanaka at CUBE in ISSEY MIYAKE GINZA/445 on Saturday, January 11th. Advance reservations are required. Please apply for the lottery via the reservation website. Please note that the talk event will be in Japanese only.
