These pleated pants are made with a Nassen print inspired by Japanese Washi paper with a marble design. Leftover fabric previously used at ISSEY MIYAKE was shredded into fine batting-like fibers, mixed with paper mulberry, and then made into Washi paper with an original marble design. Creating the marble design required time and effort, but by using Nassen printing, the pattern subtly permeates to the back, resulting in a beautiful look when the back is visible.
